Muhammad Yasir Abdur Rehman, Ph.D.

Environmental Scientist & Lead Researcher | Olympian Water Testing

Professional Biography

Dr. Muhammad Yasir Abdur Rehman is an environmental scientist with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Pakistan with a specific focus on drinking water Arsenic (As) exposure-associated toxicogenomic responses in human blood among As-exposed populations. He specializes in exposure assessment, integrated omics, human biomonitoring, ground- and surface-water contamination, and biomarker pathway analysis using computational tools. His work spans environmental monitoring, laboratory analysis, and health-risk evaluation across multiple environmental matrices. His international experience comprises working with top scientists from China and the Netherlands.

At Olympian Water Testing, Dr. Rehman leads scientific research review and analytical interpretations related to drinking water contaminants and is dedicated to leveraging his expertise in Olympian water testing to deliver safe, contaminant-free drinking water to U.S. residents while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. His expertise is critical in analyzing complex data from legacy and emerging environmental contaminants, mainly heavy metals, arsenic, pharmaceuticals, PAHs, PFAS, and volatile organics, etc. His research expertise is essential for evaluating large exposure cohorts and overseeing testing methodologies to ensure Olympian's testing methodologies meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
